Getting Started

1. Choose Your Physician
   Please see our staff bios to learn about each of our physician’s specialties and philosophies and find who fits you best.

2. Confirm Your Insurance Coverage
   If you are planning to use your insurance, please first visit our Billing and Fees page to make sure the physician you would like to see is contracted with your insurance. The next step is to call your insurance and ensure your specific plan has naturopathic benefits.

3. Give Us a Call to Schedule
   If you have done all of the above and are ready to schedule your appointment please give us a call at (206) 632-2154. Please do not schedule online as we need to get some additional information to best schedule your appointment.

First Visit

Your first visit at Ballard Natural Medicine will last 45-60 minutes. You can expect an in-depth discussion about your health history and healthcare needs.  It is helpful if you bring along copies of previous lab results, vaccination records, and a complete list of medications and supplements that you are taking.  If you don’t have access to this information, we can request them when you come in for your appointment.

Ballard Natural Medicine Forms

You will receive an email when you schedule your appointment with an invitation to join our patient portal through Charm. Once you’ve registered your portal, all of the new patient forms we require are available as questionnaires which can be completed online. Please complete the online forms as soon as possible. Forms must be received at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
