Financial and Billing Policies
We understand how confusing medical billing can be and strive to make our billing policies very clear and straightforward. Please read through our Financial Policy Agreement prior to your appointment and please contact us if you have any questions.
No Surprises Act
The Federal No Surprises Act, Title 45 Section 149.610 of the Federal Regulations, effective January 1, 2022, has created new obligations for health care providers, facilities, plans, and insurers that are intended to protect patients from receiving unexpected or “surprise” medical bills. For transparency, our fee schedule is available on our website. Due to the nature of medical billing, we cannot provide exact fees for visit before services are rendered, but our fee schedule provides our range of billing codes. It is within your rights to request an individualized Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected costs of services recommended to you. We are happy to provide an estimate prior to your visit upon request.
Insurance
Ballard Natural Medicine accepts most health insurance plans. Each insurance company and plan is different. It is your responsibility to know the details of your plan, including whether the plan has Naturopathic benefits and covers our providers.

At Ballard Natural Medicine we believe that everyone should have access to excellent medical care regardless of insurance coverage. We offer a time of service discount for all non-insured patients and a sliding scale for patients who qualify based on income.
